Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Transport arrangements for senior staff and dignitaries on behalf of the bank

  • Ensure sensitization on costs for all fleet management for the bank

  • Assist in organization of all functions and events within and outside of the bank

Scope of Duties:

  • Provide transport needs for visitors and staff of the bank
  • Collect and deliver packages or equipment as advised by Senior Management, or Line Manager/Head of Administration
  • Performs airport pick-up duties from time to time as advised by Senior Management, or Line Manager/Head of Administration
  • Vehicle Maintenance
  • Ensure that the vehicles assigned to you are operating
  • Manage the maintenance of all cars of the bank and ensure their cleanliness at all times
  • Perform minor checks of the cars condition at all times
  • Ensure safety and custody of the vehicle and its tools
  • Ensures availability of all required documents including vehicle insurance, registration, and necessary parts for safety of the vehicle and its passengers
  • Ensures that, in the event of an accident involving the office vehicle, the necessary steps required by rules and regulations are followed
  • Administrative Support
  • Assist office staff in filing, photocopying and daily office duties from time to time as assigned by Senior Management, or Line Manager/Head of Administration
  • Assist in organization of functions and events for the bank by ensuring proper arrangement for all protocol matters
  • Assist the bank for arrangements in the disposal of assets
  • And any other Administrative duties as required by management or the line manager from time to time

Competences, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Minimum of Secondary School leaving certificate
  • 2 – 3 years’ experience as a driver
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Skills in minor repair an added advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good team player
  • Fast delivery of instructions
  • Poses a high level of integrity
  • Strong knowledge of the bank’s products and services
  • Excellent planning, organization and execution skills
  • Positive and flexible attitude towards change and competition
  • Listening skills, sense of dialogue, power of conviction and facilitation and commercialism
  • Sense of Risk Control and being profit oriented person
  • A high level of innovativeness and creativity
